Properties:

Resin type HA may form a film when the solvent evaporates. Like all other vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers, it features good strength, long-term flexibility,
wear resistance, water resistance, excellent resistance to oil lubricants, diluted acids, alkalis and salt solutions.

It can resist the attack of hydrocarbons and alcohol such as petroleum solvent.

Solubility:
Ketone is a very good solvent for chloroacetic acid copolymers such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, cyclohexanone, and isophorone. This product belongs to a high content of vinyl acetate and a copolymer with a low degree of polymerization. Consequently, a solvent of xylene and ethyl acetate mixed with 10% methyl ethyl ketone can dissolve this product to form a 30% solution with a high solids content. The product can even be dissolved in a solvent without ketone.

Compatibility:
HA-type resin is compatible with other copolymer resins of chloroacetic acid, PVC-resin, perchlorovinyl resin, polyketone resin, chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber, polyacrylates, epoxy resin, polyester resin, petroleum resin. It is also compatible with low viscosity, ester-soluble nitrocellulose, and alkyd resin.

Pigment and Filler:
Titanium Dioxide, chrome oxide green, carbon black, chrome yellow, barite, mica powder, calcium carbonate, and other pigments and fillers can be used. However, special care should be taken when using zinc, cadmium, and iron oxide pigments because they have a catalysis function in the decomposition of chloro-acetic copolymer at high temperatures.

Stability:

Although HA-type resin has good light resistance and heat stability, it must be stabilized with organotin without sulfur composition and epoxy compounds when used outdoors at high temperatures. A UV stabilizer that is resistant to light can be added.

Because of its excellent solubility, this product can be used to formulate inks for shrinkage film of PVC and as well as act as a binding resin to replace 50% of acrylic resin in inks.

Adhesives:

Adding a small amount of HA resin to PU adhesives can improve initial and permanent adhesion as well as adhesion strength for PVC and EVA materials.

Adhesives:
Adding certain amount of HA resin in PU adhesives can increase initial adhesion and permanent adhesion abilities, also can increase the adhesion strength for PVC and EVA materials.

Food Products Regulation:
Regulations on food products:
UM type resin conforms to the Chinese Sanitary Standard for PVC resin for food Packaging, code no. GB4803.

Regulation of hazardous chemicals:
HA type resin is not a hazardous and toxic chemical and does not have a classification number in the “Hazardous and Toxic Chemical Category Number” Code: GB6944-1986 issued by the People’s Republic of China.

Packaging and Storage:
25 Kg/Bag. Two options for the packaging bag: Craft Paper Bag or PP Knitted Bag lined with plastic film.
Stored at dry place at room temperature.
