UMCH Solution Vinyl Resin -- Vinyl Chloride Vinyl Acetate resin

Vinyl Resin UMCH
UMCH resins or VMCH resins is a high molecular weight, carboxyl-functional terpolymer comprised of vinyl chloride ,vinyl acetate and maleic acid. It is supplied as a powder.

Our UMCH resin can replace Dow UCAR VMCH resin.

UMCH VMCH resin provides good adhesion to vinyl, metals, concrete and celllulosic substrates. UMCH vinyl resin gives highly flexible, post-formable coatings on metal coil and sheet. We also provide UMOH resin, UM50 resin...

Application :

Typical application Used in a wide variety of clear and pigmented coatings on paper, film, foil and fabric

Useful in the production of heat sealable packaging coatings and adhesives .It also can be used in metal coatings and marine maintenance coating,Coatings for metal food cans

UMCH resins 52,55 are mainly used as primer and inks for metalized  card papers; UMCH resins 55,58 are applied in heat melt coat for medical packaging aluminum foils coatings, galvanized tin coating; spraying paint for plastic case of electrics, and metal anti-corrosive coating such as marine paint etc.

VMCH resin produces highly flexible post-formable coatings on metal coil and sheet. And it is adhensive to vinyl, metals, concrete and cellulosic substrates. And VMCH Resin is tasteless, odorless.
VMCH Resin Application:
Adhesives
Flexible Packaging
Industrial Coatings
Inks and Overlacquers
Marine and Maintenance

Certificate State:

Our UMCH resin meets the standards requirement of GB4803 Code, compliance with sanitary stands of polyvinyl chloride used in food packing, PRC, and obtain the Certificate of Sanitary from the provincial authority and FDA Certificate.
Our UMCH resins are also approved by SGS testing report No. EC401460601, and reference No. SZECO060309445RC, also meet FDA requirement for an indirect food additive in accordance with 21 CFR 175.300 (3)(b)(XV) 21CFR 176.180 21 CFR 177.1210 and recieved and FDA Certificate.

Features:

This terpolymer contains carboxyl group, therefore, it features good adhesions to aluminum foil, also because it contains PVC so, also has good resistance to alkali, base, brine, salty mist, also has good resistance to oil ester and alcohols.

Packing and Storage:

25 Kg /Bag; Craft Paper Bag or PP Knitted Bag lined with plastic film.

UMCH Resin has a shelf life of approximately twenty four months when stored at  24(75H) and low humidity. Storage at higher temperatures or conditions of high humidity may result in some product discoloration.

Recommendation for Resin Dissolving Procedure:

Add weak solvent such as ethyl acetate or toluene into the blending tank first with agitation.

Slowly put terpolymer resin such as UMCH or UMOH into the above solvents with agitation.

Put strong solvents last, such as MEK or MIPK

If possible, heating and keeping temperature at 60-70 degree C, which will help the dissolving process, otherwise, takes longer time.

Resin concentration may vary with client's formulation Δ TOP
