UMOH solution vinyl resin is a high molecular weight, hydroxyl-functional, partially-hydrolyzed vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate resin. It is supplied as a powder.UMOH vinyl resin is cross linkable with amino resins and polyisocyanates and is also compatible with a wide variety of resins including alkyds and acrylics.
DOW VAGH resin has good adhesion to vinyl, cellulosic and treated polyester and PE substrates, has a high Tg which imparts good sandability in vinyl/alky/urea wood sealers. It is used in food contact applications and is also heat-sealable. We also provide VMCH UMCH resin,MC39 resin...
Features:
Because it has hydroxyl function group, it can have cross-link reaction with PU to form bright, hard and tough film with good scratch resistance.

UMOH resin meets the standards requirement of GB4803 Code, compliance with sanitary stands of polyvinyl chloride used in food packing, PRC, and obtain the Certificate of Sanitary from the provincial authority.
DOW VAGH resin also approved by SGS testing report No. EC401460601, and reference No. SZECO060309445RC, also meet FDA requirement for an indirect food additive in accordance with 21 CFR 175.300 (3)(b)(XV) 21CFR 176.180 21 CFR 177.1210; 21 CFR 176.170(b); 21 CFR 175.320; 21 CFR 175.105
Recommendation for Resin Dissolving Procedure:
Add weak solvent such as ethyl acetate or toluene into the blending tank first with agitation.
Slowly put terpolymer resin such as UMCH or UMOH into the above solvents with agitation.
Put strong solvents last, such as MEK or MIPK
If possible, heating and keeping temperature at 60-70 degree C, which will help the dissolving process, otherwise, takes longer time.
Resin concentration may vary with client's formulation
Packing and Storage:
